Birthday Party Fun

The party was a success. I'm exhausted now, but Parker had a lot of fun and almost all his friends were able to make it. He got some really cool presents. As soon as he would get one open all the kids would get up and swarm around him to check it out. It was pretty funny. Boys are so silly. It got a little crazy at the end, but overall I'm glad that we did it. It's so fun to see Parker so excited and having so much fun. He may drive me bonkers some times, but I love that kid to bits and I can't imagine not having him. I'm the luckiest.

A new site I found

So I was googling for transformer party games and came across this great site.
Executive Homemaker. I found all sort of free printables for party games, invites, and more. I didn't have a chance to check out everything else but it looks like lots of fun. :) Just thought I'd pass it on.

Transformers...more than meets the eye...

Today we are having a transformers party! I can't believe my little boy is already going to be 5 years old!!! His actual birthday is tuesday but he's having his party with friends today. It's so fun to see how excited he is about it this year. I wasn't going to make the cake. I figured he wouldn't care much if we just got one at the store. But when we went to pick one out and I saw that their version of a Transformers cake was nothing but a sheet cake with a toy on the top I just couldn't do it. So I gave in and this is what we came up with. It's Bumblebee. I have no idea who that is really, but Parker tells me it's his favorite transformer so there you go.

Two Milks

This still cracks me up and I just had to write it down so I don't forget.
Kc likes to pat my tummy a lot and ask if the baby is there, just so he doesn't forget why mommy is getting so big maybe. So one day he was poking my tummy and saying "this the baby?" I'd say yes, then he poked my boob and asked the same thing, I said no, that's baby's milk. To that he looked at me for a minute and then in a voice full of amazement and part jealousy he says "What? Baby get 2 milks!?"
