This boy had a birthday, and so we had a party

6!
I love a good party, the stress, the excitement, the exhaustion when it's done, and most of all the smiling happy faces.

Kc turned 6 in July and what could be funner than a carnival! Unfortunatly the weather was no so cooperative so it ended up inside, but the kids were all good and we had a blast.
We played carnival games, had balloon animals, ate pizza and cupcakes and candy.

Thanks to all my great friends who came and helped run everything! I couldn't have done it without you!!

Just for you...

Here you go. Apparently blogging is still a thing, or so my friends tell me. I'm a facebook girl myself, easy and fast. So I apologize if you still blog and I never look. I do occasionally, I promise.
So to my dear friend who always checks my blog in hopes of a post this is for you. ;-)

So for starters, here's Quinny!!! This little boy makes me laugh everyday. I love this age, fits and all.
Here's a little about Quinn at 18months

He LOVES to wave, as you'll see if you watch the video, which you better. It's super cute. He'll wave at anyone and everyone. Cars driving by, people in the store, people not even looking at him. He loves it, he's pretty friendly. Then if you let him he'll give you a big hug, if you don't you'll get a nice bite instead.

He climbs on everything. The table, the chairs, the counters, everything

He can say all his brothers names, ball, car, dog, hi, hello, and a bunch of other random nonsense.

He just started nursery at church and so far so good!! They haven't had to bring him to us and I think he's loving it, helps of course that Clay is still in there for a few months.

He dang cute and I love to squeeze and snuggle him.

And a bunch of other stuff, but I don't have the attention span to keep going, you'll just have to come see him

Relay for Life

Since Dad got cancer and passed away I've felt like I need to do something to help other people in some way that are going through this. Being only me there isn't a lot that I can do but I did find a few events that I can participate in. So this summer our family is participating in the Relay for Life by the American Cancer Society.

It's a walking relay that takes place overnight to symbolized that cancer never sleeps. We walk part of the night and then they have a small ceremony and light luminaries dedicated to our family and friends affected by cancer. We're taking part in the Nebo South Utah County Relay on June 29-30th.

I'm excited to be able to participate in this. Our whole family is going and we have some amazing friends that are going to join us, which means so much to me.

Part of forming our team is that we are trying to raise money that is used for cancer research and support for those going through cancer treatments and their families.

I already organized a team and named it after my dad's band he was a part of before he passed away. They had been Highland Highway but a few months before he passed away they renamed the band the Kendrix Krew in honor of him. So that's the name of our team. If you want to join our team and walk with us all you have to do is sign up, there is no cost since the team is already organized. So come and join us! We'll pitch our tents and play some games and walk of course.

If you want to join our team or donate to our team fundraising efforts then just go to

Kendrix Krew Relay for Life Team Page

and you can donate to our team. Our goal is to raise 1500 as a team, my personal goal is $300, I'm half way there right now. So please spread the word and together lets fight against cancer and help lift the people around us suffering with this terrible disease.

Easter and spring break part 1

We spent the first few days with a mini vacation to Grandmas house. Even though we live close by its always more fun to spend night and get to play for a few days. We celebrated easter together and took the kids to do some fun activities.
Monday we took the kids to Wheeler Farm in salt lake. It's this cute little farm with lots of animals to see, a wagon to ride, and other fun things to see. And it right by a park so we had fun spending the day playing. We had a picnic lunch and even got to provide some entertainment to some no doubt Japanese tourists who were amazed that all 4 boys were mine.

Birthday #3

Last Friday Clayton turned 3! We just had a little family celebration and he had a great time. We spent the weekend before at my moms house for Easter and she gave him her present and he couldn't be more excited. He's already riding all over the place and having a great time.
And in good cake pro mother style I bought him a birthday cake at the grocery store, and he loved it.
