Special Fast

One of my best friends husbands was layed off yesterday. It was totally unexpected. If you can will you join us in a fast for them tomorrow? He is a contractor, if anyone knows of any good jobs let me know and I'll pass it on to her. Thanks

Do you like my new cake stand? Isn't it fabulous! I got it on ebay. I tried a new thing this time with covering the cake board with fondant and then wrapping the edge with ribbon. I love the way it looks. It really helps complete the look I think instead of just a silver foil cake board. Carrie Briggers uses acrylic cake boards, a very cool idea. I might have to find some.

I made a wedding cake today, it is just plain with ribbon and flowers added when I get it to the reception center so I thought I'd take some of the other stuff I have and decorate it different ways for some other pics. What do you think? I have to deliver the real cake in a few hours, hopefully all will go well. I'm excited to

see how it will look once I get the other stuff on it. I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as I get home.

Cool new calender

Just wanted to show you the cool new calander I added to my website. I tend to get a lot of cakes all during the same week and have a hard time saying no to any of them so I go temporarily insane. Grandpas Birthday Cake

Tomorrow is Aaron's grandpas 80th birthday. So today grandma had a surprise party for him and I got to make a cake! I had some trouble with the fondant, must have rolled it too thin, and the bottom layer bulged a lot in the center. But it was really yummy, and Grandpa loved it.
