Today Parker was so good! We went to a friends and played in the sprinklers and hung out most the day. So neither of the boys got naps, but did really good despite that. So as a reward Daddy told him they would go camping outside in the yard. We set up the tent and made a fire and everything. We even had smores. It was so fun! Too bad it only lasted about 15mins after they went to go to sleep. Parker wanted to sleep in his own bed, Aaron was a little disappointed but a glad he got to sleep in his warm soft bed. Maybe we'll try a real camping trip later.

Ha ha ha, how fun! My favorite is that he didn't want to stay out there all night. Parker, what will you do when you actually go camping some time and your house is not there to fall back on? Oh well, your parents are innovative...they'll figure something out! :)
He told me this morning that we are supposed to camp out on the mountain not at our house. So maybe he'll like it more.
That looks so fun! You guys are great. We don't camp around here. We don't even own a tent or sleeping bags or anything!
What a fun way to camp in your own back yard.. Then if you have forgotten anything you can just run into the house.. The tent and food look so good.
